Martha B. Marshall
M.A., LPC, owner of Wild Basin Wellness, and Founder of 5NP Texas training organization
Martha Marshall is a licensed counselor for individuals and couples who want to improve their sense of wellbeing and relationship skill. In addition to talk therapy in an office, her creative approach to change might include nature as a co-therapist: a walk outdoors under the oaks, or even a paddle boarding session on an Austin lake to help get in touch with the deeper, inner-knowing and strength we all forget sometimes. Her goal with clients is their return to balance, a new perspective, and a welcoming of their whole, wise soul. Martha teaches about the mind-body connection, mindful self-compassion, and functional family dynamics. Martha leads outdoor experiences for groups, such as first responders, military, and medical frontline workers, often with Operation Get Out. She is NOLS Wilderness First Aid certified. Martha is an Acudetox Specialist licensed by the Texas Medical Board to treat stress, trauma and addictions with ear acupuncture using the 5-needle protocol.
Kifferie Corley
M.A., LPC, ADS, and a 5NP Texas Registered Trainer
Kifferie Corley trained to become a Licensed AcuDetox Specialist during her counselor internship with John at NCWC in 2011. She has now completed the Registered Trainer process with 5NP to be able to share this powerful tool with other clinicians looking for nonverbal ways to enhance their clients well-being. She has been utilizing this protocol for almost a decade as a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice on Galveston Island with clients suffering through addiction and is delighted to now be able to utilize the 5 needle protocol with all of her clients experiencing anxiety, depression and stress. This nonverbal tool has been a powerful way to build therapeutic rapport and pairs so well with the other mind body practices she offers her clients. She is trained in Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy as well as being Gottman trained to work with couples and utilize EcoTherapy to support individuals, families and couples in building sustainable coping tools to manage stress. She is currently expanding her offerings to include immersive, destination based retreats and nature based experiences with her husband for couples and women’s groups through Nurture Nature Within.
